Commit to Clean

Fairlawn native Joe Summa started the pledge sheet to prove to the naysayers that the neighborhood youth would commit to keeping the courts clean. Everyone who signs will receive a gray T-shirt with "Fairlawn Park Basketball Association" printed on the front. These pledges, in essence, adopt the park.

As some of the first youngsters to pledge, J.J. Simpson, Gary Madison, Elliot and his brother Mark Ward continue to keep the nearby 1-acre park off Homestead Avenue in the East End clean of litter. pulled quote

The boys and over 70 more people who frequent the park also pledged not to engage in behavior that is disruptive to residents near the park, to keep the park presentable and free of vandalism, among other things.

Check out the pledge below and contact us today if you are interested in signing up to help keep Fairlawn Park clean for everyone's enjoyment!
