U-15 Nutmeg Games Champions

The Fairlawn Park Basketball Association's Connecticut Kingz 15-under team won the gold medal at the 2006 Nutmeg State Games in Bridgeport. The Kingz won the Gold in a 54-51 overtime victory over the Bridgeport-based Connecticut Future Stars. Team members were: from left, Dyrell Person, Desmond Williams, Elliot Ward (16), Anthony Ireland, Mark Ward, Tootie Zimmerman, Gary Madison (16), Jordan Williams, Terron Robinson, Donald Cardozza (16), Marcus Johnson (16), Brian Almeida and Coach Joe Summa. Ward, Madison Cardozza and Johnson were ineligible to play because they are 16, but helped the team practice for the tournament.

U-15 Nutmeg Games Champions The Connecticut Kingz 15-under team won the gold medal at the 2006 Nutmeg State Games! The Kingz beat the Bridgeport-based Connecticut Future Stars 54-51 in an intense and exciting overtime game.
